Time-linearized methods to determine aerodynamic loads on elastic aircraftstructures, which usually operate in the frequency domain i.e., for harmonic motions, are known to be limited in frequency especially in the transonic speed regime. By applying a procedure proposed earlier to aerodynamic loads obtained for exponentially diverging motions it is possible to obtain data for harmonic motions without frequency limits, including piston theory asymptotics, at a third of the computational cost. At the same time the convergence of iterative solvers is much improved. Experience with the procedure in recent applications is discussed in this paper.
