摘要

Four different fungi were isolated from infected leaves of three different willow(Salix) clones aimed to be used in short-rotation biomass forestry. The microorganisms were Cladosporium cladosporioides, Botrytis cinerea, Rhodotorula glutinis and an unidentified yeast. S. viminalis having markedly higher n-alkane content in the leaves than two other willow clones showed more tolerance against infections and was infected by fungus C. cladosporioides, growth of which was promted by n-alkanes. B. cinerea was isolated from two other clones. Infections were clone specific which is here suggested to be in relation to n-alkane contents.
