Visuele Beleving van Maatafwijkingen (Visual Perception of DimensionalDeviations)

Agreements on admissible dimensional deviations, where visual aspects play a partin building, only meet requirements and wishes by coincidence. Especially in elevations the absence of an understanding of the dimensional deviations leads to annoying deviations and waste by client and manufacturer. Explorative research furthermore shows that there is considerable disagreement on the matter. This thesis gives insight into the perception of dimensional deviations in regular patterns and thereby tries to create a basis for making the right agreements on quality of dimensional deviations between client, architect and manufacturer.
