Pulsed Magnetic Fields and Pulsed Neutron Sources

The combination of pulsed neutron sources and pulsed magnetic fields provideexciting possibilities for condensed matter research. In order to achieve magnetic fields beyond 20 Tesla for neutron scattering experiments pulsed magnetic field technology has to be employed. Two workshops have been organized by the ISIS Facility, CCLRC and Birkbeck College, London with the aim to bring together specialists in pulsed magnetic field techniques and neutron scattering and to discuss a design which could eventually be implemented at the ISIS Facility and other pulsed neutron sources.
