Forest Health Monitoring in Acadia National Park, Northeast Temperate Network 2006-2013 Summary Report.

The 2013 field season marked the Northeast Temperate Network (NETN) Inventory and Monitoring Program’s 8th consecutive year of forest health monitoring in Acadia National Park (ACAD), and nearly all 176 forest plots in ACAD have been sampled twice. The goals of the forest health monitoring program are to monitor status and trend in forest composition, structure and function, and to interpret and report forest condition to park managers. This report summarizes results from the last 8 years of monitoring in ACAD.
