Evaluation of the Nutrient Standard Menu Planning Demonstration. Findings fromthe Formative Evaluation

The report presents formative evaluation findings from the ongoing NutrientStandard Menu Planning (NSMP) Demo. Data were collected from 34 directors of School Food Authorities participating in the demonstration during Fall 1995 and Winter 1996. The report documents the NSMP operational procedures that were implemented, identifies problem areas and potential changes that could be made to improve operations, and describes the perceived strengths and weakness of NMSP.
