Luanda Urban Water Supply and Sanitation Project: Liiues and Options Related to the Participation of the Private Sector (PSP) in Luanda

摘要

The purpose of this paper is to assist the Government of Angola in its consideration of private sector participation (PSP) in the provision of water supply and sanitation services to the city of Luanda. It is designed to present the information relevant for decisions needed to dramatically improve the water and sanitation services. At this stage, Coopers & Lybrand (C&L) has collected information relating to the water and sanitation sectors in Luanda, and made a preliminary assessment of the situation and the public and private options available for improving service. The preliminary assessment and options are submitted to the Project Steering Committee for its review and discussion.
