ECOPHYS was developed for poplar growing under short rotation intensive cultureconditions (SRIC), in which moisture and nutrients are maintained at optimal levels. In this study, the authors used the ECOPHYS model to assess differences in photosynthesis and growth of hybrid poplar under SRIC given observed extremes in light and temperature.
