The one-day workshop is intended to attract researchers working in the relatedareas of deductive databases and logic programming. The first session on disjunctive deductive databases deals with the generation of stable and minimal models, and applications of minimal model generation to data mining. Session 2 on queries and answer explanations is several aspects of queries to deductive databases: hypothetical queries, answer explanation based on so-called DDB trees, and the investigation of special types of linear Datalog program. In Session 3, some Datalog extensions are described, which aim at multidimensional databases and object orientation, respectively. Finally, Session 4 is on advanced concepts like data mining and constraint logic programming in deductive databases.
