Projectile perforation of a target plate is normally accompanied by the ejection211u001eof a secondary bundle of BAD (Behind Armour Debris) around the projectile. An 211u001eejected BAD bundle may very well be the dominant cause of damage to vital 211u001ecomponents behind a shielding target plate. It is consequently important to be 211u001eable to model the ejected BAD bundle and to carry out experiments with which the 211u001emodel can be validated and the model parameters can be determined. In the present 211u001epaper, simple models for ejected BAD bundles are suggested. The basic idea has 211u001eemerged from experimental results, some of which are briefly described. The 211u001ereason to suggest a model for BAD bundle ejection is to use it as a small but 211u001eimportant part of a large computer program for assessment of effects and 211u001evulnerability for complex targets, for instance LIBRA.
