This decision document presents the Selected Remedy for OU9 within the California211u001eGulch Superfund Site in Leadville, Colorado. The major components of the selected 211u001eremedy include: an extensive education and intervention program to manage lead 211u001eexposure at the site; continued voluntary blood lead monitoring (with financial 211u001eincentives, as appropriate) for all children age 6-72 months and voluntary blood 211u001elead monitoring for pregnant and nursing women; if the concentration of lead in 211u001eblood of a child or a pregnant or nursing women exceeds the blood lead criterion, 211u001eor if the concentration of lead exceeds a specified set of trigger criteria for 211u001eone or more the environmental media at a residence, then appropriate actions will 211u001ebe taken to address the exceedance.
