Agricultural Chemical Usage. Postharvest Applications: Peanuts, Rice, and Sorghum

The agricultural chemical use estimates in this report are based on data compiledfrom the 2000 Postharvest Chemical Use Surveys. Separate surveys covering the 1999 crop were conducted in the summer of 2000 for peanuts and rice. A special State-funded study was conducted in Kansas for sorghum. The survey instrument for the sorghum postharvest study was identical to that used for the national survey for chemical use data collection. Pest management data for sorghum were not collected in Kansas.
