Guidelines for Design and Operation of Nighttime Traffic Control for Highway Maintenance and Construction

This report will be of particular interest to engineers responsible for development and maintenance of traffic control plans for construction and maintenance projects. This report presents guidelines to assist highway agencies in developing and implementing a plan for night work that will provide for public and worker safety and satisfy the community while minimizing waste and other problems associated with the supply of materials and capable workers.
