Southwestern Willow Flycatcher ('Empidonax trailii extimus') Surveys in the San Luis Valley, Colorado, Annual Report, 2003.

Hawks Aloft, Inc. conducted surveys for the federally endangered Southwestern Willow Flycatcher (Empidonax traillii extimus) in 15 riparian areas in the San Luis Valley during the 2003 breeding season. Willow Flycatchers were detected in all survey periods at Alamosa National Wildlife Refuge South, Higel State Wildlife Area, and Rio Grande State Wildlife Area.
