This document presents an overview of key achievements of the Access to Clinical and Community Maternal, Neonatal and Womens Health Services (ACCESS) Program over the period 1 October 2005-31 March 2006. Now in its second year of operation, ACCESS has evolved into a mature program and is proud to present global results in international leadership, capacity building, demand generation and service delivery in maternal and newborn health. This report identifies the challenges of the Program, the approaches and solutions for overcoming them, and the critical activities planned for the next period.
