U.S. International Trade Commission: Uncovered Innerspring Units From China, South Africa, and Vietnam. Investigation Nos. 731-TA-1140-1142 (Preliminary)

On December 31, 2007, a petition was filed with the Commission and Commerce by Leggett & Platt Inc., Carthage, MO, alleging that an industry in the United States is materially injured and threatened with further material injury by reason of LTFV imports of uncovered innerspring units from China, South Africa, and Vietnam. Accordingly, effective December 31, 2007, the Commission instituted antidumping duty investigation Nos. 731-TA-1140-1142 (Preliminary). Notice of the institution of the Commissions investigations and of a public conference to be held in connection therewith was given by posting copies of the notice in the Office of the Secretary, U.S. International Trade Commission, Washington, DC, and by publishing the notice in the Federal Register of January 7, 2008 (73 FR 1229). The conference was held in Washington, DC, on January 22, 2008, and all persons who requested the opportunity were permitted to appear in person or by counsel.
