Use of Funds Appropriated to the Office of Inspector General for Medicaid-Related Program Integrity Activities, Fiscal Year 2008

This report fulfills the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Office of Inspector Generals (OIG) statutory requirement to report on the use and effectiveness of funds provided through section 6034 of the Deficit Reduction Act of 2005 (Pub. L. 109-171, DRA). Specifically, this report summarizes the OIGs Medicaid related oversight activities during fiscal year (FY) 2008. In addition, this report includes an overview of Medicaid integrity work that OIG anticipates undertaking during FY 2009.
