Esercizi di Etica della Ricerca: Discussione su Quattro Casi Controversi. (Exercises of Ethics of Research: Discussion of Four Controversal Cases).

摘要

Reported cases refer to four studies carried out during the seventies and resulted in extensive media scandals and fundamental reflections on ethics of research. A fact sheet has been elaborated for each case, the main ethical issues raised by the case have been formulated and topics for discussion are provided. The main events are also mentioned, that have characterized the development of ethics of research, including those referring to the legislative field. The objective of these exercises is to find out the reasons that make us consider today these studies despicable, if not infamous, but most of all the reasons why they were not considered so when they were carried out.
