RESEARCH ON GROUP STRUCTURE AND FUNCTION AS RELATED TO THE PERSONALITY CHARACTERISTICS AND INTERESTS OF GROUP MEMBERS

This section of the report outlines the use of the McBee "Keysort" cards in three phases of the analysis of the firemen data: (1) to compare scale scores among the dimensions included in the MMPI. This intra-scale score analysis was mainly intended to investigate- whether or not the individual configurations of MMPI scores could be categorized into inter-scale patterns; (2) to visually examine the relationships between MMPI scale scores combined by their pattern and other non-MMPI variables; (3) to note any gross relationships among the non-MMPI variables.
