摘要

The salient finding of this study is the observation that the blowoff limit of a laminar, pre-mixed hydrocarbon-air flame may be increased greatly through the introduction near the zone of flame attachment of auxiliary combustible hydrocarbon, hydrogen or auxiliary oxidant oxygen. The amount of auxiliary gas introduced in close vicinity of the flame attachment zone is extremely small for the achievement of major effects in the extension of the range of gas flow for a stable flame.
