Twenty-one papers with accompanying illustrations, references and discussion are reproduced. A report on hospitalizing of Cuban paraplegics was given. Mortality of spinal cord injury patients and pathology in cases of spinal cord injury were discussed. Psychiatric-psychological surveys of 1000 cases and the use of drugs in treating mental and emotional disorders of spinal cord injury were topics for discussion. Renal metabolism and cutaneous studies were discussed. Neuroendocrinology, arachnoiditis, and muscle spindle physiology were topics presented. A report on the use of nitrates and nitrites in 'spasm' was given. Humoral factors in circulatory control in spinal cord injury patients were discussed. A list of participants and a classified index are provided.
