These transactions are part of an ongoing series of conferences reporting research on the chemotherapy of tuberculosis sponsored by the Veterans Administration and the armed forces. Reports include presentations on microbiologic and fluorometric methods for measuring the concentration of isoniazid in serum; the use of vivo-niplin, a pyroxidine-sparing isoniazid derivative, in the therapy of pulmonary tuberculosis; the fate of patients with tuberculous cavitary disease who have refused surgery; implications of the zephiran-TSP method of decontaminating and analyzing sputum; and pulmonary adenocarcinomas and their relation to scars.
