This procedure describes the calibration of a general class of single-ended, absorption type wattmeters primarily, designed to measure RF power from any source within their ranges. The unit being calibrated will be referred to herein as the Test Instrument. A partial list of representative Test Instruments is included in appendix A.nAlthough the Test Instruments listed in appendix A are designed to operate over a wide range of frequency and power, the measurement system herein described is limited by the available signal sources and other components (see appendix B) to power measurements of 0 to 50 watts in the frequency range of 200 to 1000 Mc.
