Wet Autogenous Grinding in Tumbling Mills

摘要

After a general introduction the article discusses at length the various grinding mechanisms operative in autogenous grinding. The viewpoints developed are then used for a review of the operational aspects, especially concerning process limitations, regulation possibilities and future development. Considerations concerning capital and operations costs are beiefly discussed. A list of wet autogenous grinding installations and a bibliography on autogenous and pebble grinding are appended.
