The report describes the vegetation in the three major forest regions and sections of each region. It then describes selected sites, including an evaluation, recommendation and map. It lists and describes 115 sites in the states of Alabama, Connecticut, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Maryland, Mississippi, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, and Ohio. Each site is characterized as to vegetation, type, acreage and priority.
