Personal Health Care Expenditures by State. Volume II. Public and Private Funds 1966 and 1969

摘要

This report presents State estimates of total personal health care spending by source of funds and type of expenditure. Analysis of total expenditures in 1969 is presented in terms of the types of services purchased, the source of financing, and demographic State variables. Spending in 1969 is compared with that of 1966--the year before Medicare amd Medicaid began operations--in order to explore the impact of these programs on the financing of health and the variation of this impact by State.
