The Biology and Ecology of Feral Burros (Equus Asinus) at Grand Canyon National Park, Arizona, Final Research Report includes 7 chapters as follows: The Setting and the Problem; Distribution and Population Densities of Feral Burros; Description of Study Sites; Investigations on Feral Burro Impact on Plant Communities; Investigations on Soil Moisture, Soil Compaction and Trail Delfation in Three Habitat Types; Investigations on Small Mammal Communities in Three Habitat Types and Data Synthesis and Conclusions. Three appendixes are also included as follows: Rodents on Burro-Impacted and Control Areas in the Vicinity of Indian Canyon; Diets of a Feral Burro Population during August and September from the area between Parashant Canyon and Fall Canyon.
