摘要

In September of 1984, the USEPA informed the State that the State Implementation Plan (SIP) for sulfur dioxide in Madison County was inadequate. The report documents the results of analyses of sulfur dioxide air quality in the Alton-Wood River area and represents the most detailed and thorough study performed to date by the IEPA for Madison County. The study results form a basis for additional emission controls for a source in the study area. These additional controls are necessary in order to assure compliance with air quality standards for sulfur dioxide.
