Dyeing and Finishing of Textiles. Report 3. Volume 1

摘要

The health hazards associated with the textile dyeing and finishing industry were assessed. Process assessments were based on available literature sources, five facility visits, and consultations with experts. The objective of the report was to provide information for health professionals, workers, and management. The report covers preparation, dyeing and printing, wet finishing, and includes a summary of processes in relation to their potential for hazardous exposure and a description of emerging technologies in the textile industry.
