Forest Floor Fuel Loads, Depths, and Bulk Densities in Four Interior Alaskan Cover Types

Forest floor fuel loads, depths, and bulk densities are reported for four Interior Alaska cover types. Cover types included are upland black spruce, lowland black spruce, white spruce, and paper birch. Results indicate forest floor depths range from slightly over 2 inches to about 7 inches for all areas sampled.
