Drug Control: U.S. Supported Efforts in Burma, Pakistan, and Thailand

The Anti-Drug Abuse Act of 1986 requires the Comptroller General to examine the effectiveness of the international narcotics control assistance provided pursuant to the Foreign Assistance Act of 1961 (22 U.S.C. 2291) and to report to the Congress periodically as portions of the investigation are completed. The report responds to the legislative requirement and covers the review of U.S.-supported drug control efforts in Burma, Thailand, and Pakistan.
