H infinity-Control: An Exploratory Study

摘要

A new approach in control theory is H(sub infinity)-optimization. The report is aimed at presenting an introduction of the techniques that use state-space representation and concludes with a case-study. Chapter 1 gives a framework of the design-procedure for finding the optimal controller. Chapters 2 through 6 give a detailed elaboration of all the different steps in the design-procedure. The case-study, the design of three different controllers for a laboratory process, is presented in Chapter 7.
