Testimony is presented at the 13th hearing the subcommittees have held on the subject of coastal pollution over the last 2 years. The bill, if it is passed, may be the most important coastal water quality bill since the Clean Water Act. The representatives discussed areas such as monitoring, standards, enforcement, sewage treatment systems, and ocean disposal techniques.
