Design Study of Superconducting 5 Tesla Dipole Magnets for MHD Generators

摘要

A general design concept for a 5 teals dipole magnet to be used in a lo MW MHD generator was developed. The solution allows the linear dimensions of the magnet to be increased or decreased by a factor of about 2 without need of major modifications.
