The system described in this document was designed for dis¬playing on a large screen computer produced graphs. The program¬ming flexibility of the computer is first used to break a pic¬ture into points or vectorial segments. The system acquires the picture data through a direct memory access channel, computes the intermediary points of vectors to be plotted, and transforms the numerical data into analog voltages driving the display screen. The system is able to draw about 400 inches of vectors or to plot 2500 points without flicker.
