摘要

This report documents a program system used for simultaneous point rectification of partly overlapping images obtained with different sensors (conventional photogrammetry, Side Looking Radar (SLAR), Infrared Line Scan (IRLS)). The problem is solved in two phases. in the first phase all image points to be rectified are transformed into a local ground coordinates system. The mathematical model used at this phase obviously differs for each type of image and should describe as well as possible the relationship image-terrain. In the second phase the incompleteness of the mathematical model assumed in the first phase is compensated for using a set of reference points (control points) and the information given by all those points appearing simultaneously in more images (tie points).
