Interpretation of Radar Detected Subsurface Features in Mare Serenitatis

Data taken during revolutions 16, 17, and 18 by the 5 MHz (HF-1) system of the Apollo 17 Lunar Sounder Experiment have been examined using a multiple orbit data correlation technique. Reflections from the lunar sub-surface were detected for several hundred kilometers in Maria Crisium and Serenitatis.
