Flight Test of Four ESTEC Heat Pipes as a Part of the Payioad Planned for Launch on an Aries Rocket

The present report describes the Launch of the ASTRO 8/II Heat Pipe Payload on an ARIES Rocket. The first part gives a technical description of th9 Payloadthe Electrical Ground Support Equipment, the Power and Timer System and Experiment Electronic. Some of the Launcher data are also given.nThe second part describes the pre Launch activities the flight and the flight events. The flight results are prin¬ted out at the end of this report.
