Pneumatic Conveying in HTGR Nuclear Fuel Reprocessing

Pneumatic conveying is used to transport material between stages in the head-end of the fuel reprocessing pilot plant at General Atomic Company. The components selected for the conveying systems have generally performed well. Data regarding pressure drop, gas velocities, and solids flow rates have been correlated. (ERA citation 03:056620)
