摘要

Speed and stability of the alignment of a helicopter with a target are investigated by means of a system simulation. Variables are the maximum yaw rate of the helicopter, the maximum pan rate of the steerable sight or sensor, and their optical magnification. The results obtained provided favorable combinations of these parameters for two different cases, i.e., target acquisition and target already picked up by means of the sight or sensor, respectively.
