Study on the Extension of the Stroboscopic Method to the Second Order. Volume 2: Perturbation by the Higher Degree Zonal Harmonics

The Stroboscopic Method for orbit computation was extended to the higher degree terms of the zonal oblateness perturbation. First order results are presented for the J3, J4, J5 and J6 perturbation, together with the first and second order results of the J2 perturbation. A consistent set of formulas for handling the zonal part of the oblateness perturbation is therefore available. The algebraic manipulator program designed for computing the second order J2 results was used with minor modifications.
