Columbia: The First Five Flights. Entry Heating Data Series. Volume 6: The Upper Leeside Surface Centerline

摘要

The aerothermodynamic performance of the Space Shuttle Orbiter during reentry is assessed from the collected data of the first five flights. The entry heating data is restricted to the upper leeside surface centerline of the orbiter. Surface heating and temperature data are analyzed by a variety of computer programs and presented in graphic form. Wind tunnel test data is also included.
