Part 2 of Volume 3 of the Operational Aerodynamic Data Book for the Space Shuttle discusses yawing moments. The orbital and entry aerodynamic and RCS yawing moment data are presented. The aerodynamic coefficient data are presented in three forms: (1) on-orbit, payload bay doors open for use for on-orbit station keeping aerodynamics; (2) on-orbit, payload bay doors closed for use for on-orbit station keeping and TAL abort; and (3) for nominal entry, TAL, AOA, GRTLS, and AFO aborts. The orbital and entry RCS data are contained in Item 3 of the aerodynamic data, and are to be used in conjunction with Items 1 and 2. The RCS data are defined in terms of impingement and interaction.
