Some Results on the Minimal Realization of Discrete-Event Dynamic Systems

The notion of eigenvalue and eigenvector in the max-algebra is considered. The characteristic equation of a square matrix in the max-algebra is studied. The Cayley-Hamilton theorem is used. Results on the minimal realization of discrete-event dynamic systems are presented.
