Fabstran: A Computer Program for Frame and Beam Static and Transient Response Analysis (Nonlinear)

摘要

An analysis method and computer program for evaluation of the large-displacement, elastoplastic behavior of plane frames and beam-columns under static or transient dynamic loads are described. The program may be used to evaluate inelastic bending and buckling behavior of stiffened panels under lateral loads (including air blast) and in-plane compression, collapse of long, externally pressurized ring-stiffened cylinders including imperfection and damage effects, and collapse of tubular beam-columns including the influence of local denting damage. Guidance on use of the program is provided and examples of its application are given.
