摘要

The development of flames propagating through a premixed combustible gas in a directed accelerating flow field was plausibly simulated by the PHOENICS computer code. The realistic results suggest that the numerical procedure worked smoothly. The Rayleigh-Taylor instability occurs when the flame propagates in the direction of the heavier unburned gas, and its occurrence may largely increase the burning rate.
