摘要

A finite difference scheme for the calculation of the unsteady temperature distribution in irradiated tubes of a solar central receiver was developed. The computation code is based on the radiation exchange in the visible and IR wavelength range, and on the energy balances for tube wall, heat carrier, and ceramic back wall. The front surface temperature of a sodium-coded receiver was measured by a thermovision device. The measured temperatures show good agreement with the calculated values, and were used to determine heat losses and efficiency.
