摘要

The interlaminar shear strength of carbon-epoxy laminates was to be improved byplacing particles of aluminum between plies of prepreg tape used for the layup. Difficulty in aligning the aluminum whiskers in the transverse direction prevented any gain in strength. A discussion of shear within a laminate is presented to better understand the results.
