Report On Sampling And Analysis Of Air At Trenches 218-w-4c And218-w-5 #31 of the Low Level Burial Grounds.

摘要

This report presents analytical results of air samples collected from trenches at the Low Level Burial Grounds. The samples were collected with SUMMA canisters and were analyzed by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry using a modified EPA TO-14 procedure. The data suggest that the vent pipes of the 218-W-4C trenches had elevated concentrations of volatile organic compounds. The ambient air samples collected at the 218-W-5 #31 facility, an open trench that does not contain any waste at this time, did not show any target compounds above the method detection limit.
