Solving by parallel computation the poisson problem for high intensity beams incircular accelerators

Simulation of high intensity accelerators leads to the solution of the PoissonEquation, to calculate space charge forces in the presence of acceleration chamber walls. We reduced the problem to 'two-and-a-half' dimensions for long particle bunches, characteristic of large circular accelerators, and applied the results to the tracking code Orbit.
